I am a certified (yoga alliance) 200 YTT yoga instructor since 2013 in Costa Rica. And certified 200 hours mat pilates and 600 hours pilates teacher with all apparatus (reformer, cadillac, chair, tower, and barrel).
Besides yoga and pilates I love boxing and surfing. Both are fun cardio workouts where I feel like time flies. It’s so fun and takes all your focus and makes your body use all its energy.
I swear to a balanced diet. I do not believe in actual “diets” and I have never been on one. I like to eat healthy which to me means wholesome local food. I live in Costa Rica where I go to the fisherman to get fresh fish he just caught. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables which are all locally sourced. I try not to buy imported food and I never eat processed food. And I try to stay away from white sugar and white flour. These are two ingredients that I do not even carry in my kitchen. I love to cook and bake but try to make it healthy and delicious.
Watermelon, coffee, chocolate, sweet potatoes, and avocados. I think these are ingredients I could not live without.
I would say that I have been a night person my whole life but since living in Costa Rica you slowly adapt to becoming a morning person. The life here follows the sun so you want to wake up with the sun around 6AM and go to bed early like around 9PM.
It’s definitely living in nature. I live in a jungle and on the beach, which is paradise to me. I wake up to the sounds of monkeys and the ocean waves. To establish a family, with my small babies growing up in nature is a dream coming true. I see my babies connecting to nature, crawling and playing in the sand, and being outside, never bored.
I have this constant drive and curiosity to subjects I love such as family, business, food, and wellness which is my motivation I believe. I only do things I love and I have never been driven by money. And I never compare myself with others. I know I think differently and do things differently and I have learned to embrace it and make it my strength. To create small goals is also a motivation for me – for example, to create a prenatal online program. With this as a goal, I was motivated and determined to not only create it, but enjoy it every step of the way.
I am definitely a beach person. I always dreamed of living on the beach even with all my years living and growing up in cities.
